Class Description

The Introduction to Drop Spindle is a beginner class to provide a foundation on learning to spin. The goal is to produce two ply yarn from roving. We'll cover some of the history of spinning, review types of fiber and how they spin differently, we'll practice some manual spinning, and then move to the drop spindle. The price of the class includes all the supplies, and you'll receive a wooden drop spindle and one ounce of roving to take home. The class is held at our farm - 7528 Union Hill Rd, Canton GA 30115.
